Project Description
Due to the success of the adjoining Ashford International Truckstop, GSE Group made plans to construct a new 600 space lorry park. OCL Regeneration Ltd were approached by GSE Group to design & build a value engineered alternative to the originally specified hot asphalt bound pavement layer that was to be placed under concrete block paving. Due to the cost, programme and environmental benefits of our design incorporating OCL Foambase®, GSE Group awarded OCL Regeneration Ltd the surfacing works at Waterbrook Park Truckstop.
Services Provided
- Design & build of a value engineered cold recycled bound pavement
- Production & installation of 60,000m²/24,700 OCL Foambase® using a mobile batching plant on site
- All works completed to the required specification and programme of works

- Saved 445 tonnes* of CO2 by using OCL Foambase®
- Programme savings and supply surety due to batching on site
